2015 was such an amazing year for all of us at Alluring Events & Design, but we are so excited to see what 2016 has in store! We thought we would share what wedding trends we are looking forward to most! Hanging Centerpieces What an innovative and fun way to switch up the traditional centerpiece. It creates more room on the table and is a great focal piece. Click here for some awesome ideas! Blinged Out Barns As the trend shifts from rustic and country to formal and traditional. Styling out a barn is a fabulous way to go because, let's admit, we all still love barns!!! Gorgeous chandeliers, uplighting, and draping will create an atmosphere that is the prefect mix of trendy and traditional. Non-traditional Florals and Greenery A good example would be the work of florists like Crimson Horticultural Rarities. Some flower/color combinations we're really liking for the new year are hanging amaranthus in a deep burgundy, paired with cedar leaves for greenery.

Unique Food Alternatives We're looking forward to trends in food becoming more personal, modern and fun, straying away from the typical and traditional. Anything from grill stations, 'build your own’ bars, food trucks, and themed menus will make for an original and unforgettable experience. Who wouldn’t love hoping around sampling sliders, tasting slices of fresh stone baked pizza, ordering your own gourmet grilled cheese or building your own mountain of mashed potato goodness?!
