Giving Thanks
It’s that time of year, when the leaves begin to change, we cozy up in blankets, and reflect on the things we hold near and dear to our hearts. The ladies of Alluring Events have A LOT to be thankful for. We are so thankful for you – our couples, clients, followers, friends, and all of the wonderful people we have had the privilege of sharing the year with. Our couples have taken us on exciting adventures, standing in awe of the beauty of Tahoe, running through the vines of wine country in Napa, exploring Palm Springs and all of the beautiful venues in between. We love that we get to be more than just planners – we get to meet, listen, and learn from our couples and share in one of the most beautiful and special days. From the heartfelt emotion we’ve seen during the First Look, or the brilliantly choreographed dances from the bridal party, we are so thankful for all of the happy tears and belly laughs this year gave us. We are here because of you, and couldn’t be more grateful you chose us to stand by your side (or rather, watching in the wings), cheering for you on your wedding day. We wish you a Thanksgiving week full of peace, gratitude, joy + delicious food!(It’s not often you hear from us individually, but we would each like to share a few things that have warmed our hearts this year. So, without further ado…) Aubrey - I am thankful for my family, friends, health + home. I am especially grateful for my girl tribe at Alluring Events. Surrounding myself with such kind + creative people gives me joy + recharges me. I am also thankful to finally be launching Grace + White Bridal in 2019! Also, I am grateful that we can finally watch the final season of Game of Thrones in a few months. Rachele - This year I am very grateful for my friends + the tribe who surrounds me, they give unconditional support, strength + comfort. I am thankful for my puppy who brings so much joy (+ the best cuddles) and for a profession I genuinely love. I also feel especially grateful for my husband, who is the true definition of devotion. And bacon, I am definitely thankful for bacon. Sarah - I am thankful for my children + husband + my extended family through Alluring who inspire you me every day. Of course, I am thankful for girl’s night filled with tons of laughter and for wine…always wine. Lonnie - I’m thankful for relentless encouragement from my husband, fast and faithful friends + family, and my dancing feet. I never want to skip Thanksgiving altogether, but I’m also really thankful that Christmas is almost here -- Santa is an old personal friend of mine, and I can’t wait to see him this year. Kelsey - This year, I am incredibly thankful for this new opportunity with Alluring! I couldn't ask for a better group of ladies to share this with. I am also thankful for my always incredible + supportive husband (who thinks I'm crazy + too OCD), my sweet doggo, Nola, who's ready to snuggle with me every night, and jiu jitsu, for providing me a physical outlet to recharge (sorry for all the bruises and odd looks everyone!)....And wine, cannot forget the wine. Amy - I am grateful for my cozy, safe home. For my incredibly loving family, (especially Baby BE) and my amazing friends. I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to travel to beautiful places near and far this year, and for the connections I’ve created with so many amazing couples this year at Alluring. I’d also like to mention that I’m SUPER grateful for the amazing team of girls that makes Alluring’s wedding season so fun AND the late night Taco Bell drive-thru... #sorrynotsorry. Kayleigh - I am thankful for my incredible and supportive husband, my amazingly sassy little girl, my new little baby-love arriving next month and my favorite cuddle partner, Bo Bear (my dog). I am so blessed to work with not only strong driven women, but some of the most kind genuine souls I’ve ever met. Oh, and I am also thankful that I can finally drink wine again next month. Cheers! Lauren - I’m so thankful for my healthy, happy family. I’m thankful for my husband and our little boy, Lake. I’m grateful I get to work in an industry with a brilliant team of girls who are passionate about what they do. Yay Alluring! And I’m so thankful I’m able to take time off as we welcome our new baby boy in a few months! Montana - This year, the little moments fill my heart with gratitude. Whether it is making dinner with a friend, a good cup of coffee in the morning or a random act of kindness from the people I love, every day it is the small things that make me overwhelmingly grateful for my community.
