Shelby + James

Shelby & James dreamed of having a modern, romantic boho wedding! Shelby wanted everything to be beautiful, but approachable and comfortable for the guests. Wolfe Heights, located in Sacramento, CA, was a perfect venue for a late outdoor fall wedding with the colorful vineyards and circle ceremony set up!

Together we curated a wedding design that was a perfect for the early November date. The colors we chose for the wedding included warm textured neutrals and a beautiful terracotta and rust! We really let the florist have creative freedom with seasonal appropriately flowers—this made the reception space shine. And of course, the tapered candles and votive created a cozy fall wedding under the stars that was unforgettable.

We selected beautiful tabletop rentals, including stoneware plates, in which guests would enjoy an endless pizza and pizookie wedding buffet on (Shelby & James’ favorite!). The perfectly boho fringe napkin was the perfect final touch for the table—a little bit of formal, a lot of fun!! Wedding planning with Shelby and James was such a joy as every detail was reflective of the vibe they wanted to achieve.

The bride, groom & wedding guests danced the night away under the lights of a Custom Sactown Neon and after the wedding headed to the local watering hole for karaoke! Shelby and James will forever remember their wedding as the best damn party they ever threw!!
